Had a beautiful evening to photograph the Lennard family in Ft. Walton! The session was a long time coming, and I’m glad we finally worked out the best time to get together. What handsome boys!

It’s wonderful to be back in the U.S! My family and I spent the last 10 weeks abroad, and though we all thoroughly enjoyed the trip, there’s really no place like home!

While I was away, I received an email from the Coulsons – a family from Texas whom I’ve been photographing for years during their annual Destin vacations. It seemed that I was going to miss them this year by just days! Noooooo! There was a new little girl in the family whom I hadn’t yet met! And Mom said she had some serious baby chub going on! How could I possibly miss them this year??

Thankfully, they were able to stay just long enough in Destin for me to have one shot at photographing them – the day after my flight back from London. Yay! And we got lucky with some gorgeous weather for our only chance at a session. Double yay!

Thank you, Coulsons, for being such loyal clients and giving me the pleasure of photographing your beautiful family year after year. I seriously enjoyed that super helping of baby chub!

The Prices

This is the first time I’ve gotten to photograph my best friend’s family EVER. It’s about time, right?! We met out at Casey’s family home which has a cool vineyard and great fences and pasture land … backgrounds we photographers just eat up! The little Price wasn’t thrilled with any of it (wouldn’t have any part of giving up Daddy’s sweater he was wearing), but I managed to get some keepers, I think!
